ABOUT BAKTAS
First-ever student-based mountaineering and environmental outdoor group of Mindanao State University General Santos City organized year 2000. Baktas is leading the campaign to preserve and rehabilitate the natural environment and engaged in activities aimed to rescue the green planet by means of a challenging sports rooted on environmentalism: MOUNTAINEERING. Pro-active and dynamic, the society is dedicated and committed to uphold the true principles of responsible mountaineering. Member: Mountaineering Federation of the Philippines, Inc (MFPI)

Do you know of any group planning to climb Mt. Matutum bet. 6/28 and 7/3/09?
will be in GenSan for Dad's big 80 natal. Climbing MM has been a long held dream. Pls. advise of any group I could join. Any info. is appreciated. Thank you.
